Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) today proudly announced that it has been awarded the Business Technology Association's (BTA) 2011 Channel's Choice Superior Performance Award as a Primary Product Line Provider for the fifth straight year. This award, the organization's highest honor, indicates that Toshiba is the partner of choice for independent dealers, above all others. The award is based on completed surveys by nearly 390 office technology dealers from across the country. Toshiba also was honored to again receive Channel's Choice Awards in three of four key performance categories: Corporate Support, Distribution, and Inventory. The awards were presented at the BTA's recent Winter Break 2011 event in Orlando, Fla.

	Cary Butler, director of sales for the Southern Region of Toshiba, accepted the coveted award from 2011-12 BTA President Rock Janecek during a reception at its Winter Break 2011 event in Orlando, Fla.

"More than anything, we are extremely thankful for the consistent recognition we have received from our independent dealers," said Mark Mathews, president and chief operating officer (COO), TABS. The BTA Channel's Choice Awards are based on feedback from independent office technology dealers representing all copier/multifunction product (MFP) vendors in the industry, and all regions of the country.  Nearly 400 dealers participated in this year's survey and were asked to rank their primary and secondary vendors in four key performance categories - Corporate Support, Distribution, Product Line, and Inventory. As in 2010, Toshiba almost swept the awards, taking home the top honor, as well as three of the four key performance category awards.
