Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) today announced the recipients of the annual ProMasters Service Awards. The award serves to recognize dealers who provide their customers with exceptional technical support and customer service. This year, 79 dealers from the US, Latin and South America, and the Caribbean were recognized with either the ProMasters Service Award or the Top Achievement Award. The awards program was developed seventeen years ago with the aim of motivating and ensuring that the independent and direct channel dealers delivered the best customer service and technical expertise possible, on a consistent basis.
"It’s with great pride that we honor these elite dealers,” said George Colborn, vice president, Service, TABS. “Now more than ever, customer service and support is what differentiates businesses in the marketplace and helps grow success – so we are thrilled to see these companies taking that message to heart and achieving great things."
This distinction is reserved for a few select dealers that have met and surpassed high standards, rigorous evaluations, an ongoing qualification process, and a commitment that never ceases to demonstrate their dedication to customer service and technical knowledge in support of Toshiba products, software and services. Dealers earning at least 700 out of a possible 1,000 in the evaluation process receive the honor of the ProMaster designation. The highest scoring dealer in each region (with a minimum of 850 points) is named the ProMasters Top Achievement Award winner. The 2009 recipients include:
